Biography
Julie Sawyer Montgomery brings a track record of challenging the status quo to drive strategic business growth and innovation. Julie builds inclusive and winning teams while holding a steadfast commitment to supporting customers and patients. She has played a pivotal role in transforming Danaher’s diagnostics business through leadership grounded in strategy, innovation, commercial excellence, and operational rigor.
Timeline
Julie joined Danaher in 2017 at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, where she held roles of increasing responsibility in commercial operations and R&D before becoming the President of Beckman Coulter Diagnostics. In 2023, she became Vice President and Group Executive of the Danaher Diagnostics Platform, where she focused on acceleration of both the strategic and science & technology aspects of the business for multiple operating companies. Before joining Danaher, she held leadership roles at Hospira Infusion Systems, Boston Scientific, and Boston Consulting Group.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Columbia University, a Master of Music from the Eastman School of Music, and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
